In Vivo Cardio-Vascular Function

Our PEC2 team is equipped to explore cardiac function in vivo, in anaesthetised small animals (rats, mice), thanks to echocardiography. The tele-systolic and tele-diastolic diameters of the left ventricle, left ventricle function (LVEF, FS), Doppler US allows flow to be measured and monitored over time in the same animal, during the disease (experimental infarction or cerebral  ischemia) and/or its treatment.
